This is the Type 119, or Alfa 6 – so named for the introduction of Alfa’s first V6 saloon – and this particular model features the original and much celebrated 2.5-litre ‘Busso’ V6, producing 158bhp at 5,500rpm and breathing through six individual Dellorto carburettors – one per cylinder Imported from a carefully curated collection in South Africa, this right-hand drive example has benefited from the hot, dry climate, presenting as structurally original with no signs of welding and retaining its factory steel bodywork throughout Finished in AR343 Blu Olandese (Dutch Blue) with grey leather upholstery, the cabin is in excellent order, in line with the car’s low and considered use over the years.
