1972 ALFA ROMEO BERLINA 2000 - £18,995

We have owned this car for 6 years, and when we bought it, it had the wrong 1750 engine (2.0 were hard to find). We sourced an extremely good 2.0 engine eventually, that Mike Bonello up in Newcastle had stored away from a beyond repair damaged car. The engine pulls like a train and will happily cruise at UK legal limits (and plenty left). I have the full owner history file from new, (except the original purchaser from new, who I could not trace), but even tracked one down to Belarus, who sent a long email about his ownership and also another owner in Brighton. Excellent Avon tyres all round and suspension with Koni sport shock absorbers. Original jack in the boot. I have fitted trumpets to the twin Dellorto carbs,(more for personal aesthetics), but still have the original filtration system. At her very first large multi marque classic show she came away with a lovely cup (picture) and no one was surprised and pleased as we were considering the quality of cars there, but she is a rarity and even rarer with an original Webasto sunroof. It's that smell you get when you open the doors, from the lovely Red leather seats. A much admired car at shows, but reluctantly, it is time for new owners. Will come with a full years MoT for peace of mind.
