The “Big Healey’s” have long been viewed as the ultimate British sports cars of the 1960s. Development of the line started with the 1952 Healey 100 launched at the London Motor Show. The evocative lines and superb handling of the Healey made it a sleek and successful rally car all around the world. With its 6-cylinder engine giving plenty of torque, the cars are more than quick enough to keep up with modern-day traffic. This stunning example finished in the best colour combination was supplied new in 1965 as a UK RHD where it has remained ever since and is a matching numbers car with Heritage certificate. A complete and thorough restoration was completed in the 1990s to a very high standard by a renowned Austin Healey specialist importantly utilising Aluminium panels which is all documented with photos, invoices etc. The mechanicals were also rebuilt and the engine built to fast road specification By the renowned Denis Welch.
