1966 AUSTIN MINI - £15,750

1380cc, 125bhp, 7 port, Mini (rebuilt into a later shell which is very solid). Engine has only done 300 miles since complete rebuild, with new Swiftune SW10 cam, oil pump, ACL main and big end bearings, new Vernier timing chain all supplied by Swiftune. ARP rod bolts and head studs, the crank was crack tested and polished, lightweight steel flywheel with new clutch and quick shift gear change. The 7 port head has been refaced and valve seats recut. New Jenvey throttle bodies, new Delta 400 ecu and electrics supplied by Specialist Components. Set up on rolling road and gave 125bhp and 101ft/lb torque. The car has had a first class spray job and newly treated underside with Lanoshield, fitted with full roll cage, Sparco drivers seat and steering wheel. Front suspension has adjustable tie bars and Gaz dampers, 4 pot alloy calipers and vented discs, rear has Superminifin drums and Gaz dampers adjustable bias valve. Genuine 6x10 Minilite wheels with Yokohama tyres. All originally set up by Andy Harrison at Acespeed. The car is in first class condition. The car drives well as injection and ECU smooth out any caminess. Reason for sale is I am looking for another project.
