SCK109K is an exceptional example of a Bristol 411 Series 3, one of the finest designs that Bristol Cars ever created. It is undoubtedly a rare specimen, combining stunning Royal Blue exterior with Tan leather interior. This car has an interesting history as it was originally built for Wing Commander Kennard of Brittania Airlines, a personal friend of Anthony Crook, then proprietor of Bristol Cars Ltd. This car is supplied with detailed history, including descriptions of the restoration work that was undertaken between 2007 and 2009. this work included replacing rear chassis out-riggers and re-ling wheel arches. At that time the standard 3-speed automatic gearbox was replaced with the very desirable 4-speed, later version, ZF automatic gearbox. More recently, the front suspension and steering has been overhauled by a leading Bristol specialist. This work included the replacement of worn bearings and bushes, together with the installation of a new set of correctly rated Koni shock absorbers. The same specialist also installed a very useful "Speed Hold" system. This is operated by a Bristol, column mounted stalk to conveniently engage/increase/decrease speed. During the past 2 years all discs and pads have been changed, as well as engine oil and filter, rear axle oil and gear box oil. A discreet reversing camera/park distance control system has been installed which assists in manoeuvrability of the car. All carpets have been replaced with a quality brand, expertly cut, trimmed and edged set. New carpeting has been carried through to luggage compartment floor sides and top. No expense has been spared to ensure that SCK109K is maintained in superb order and presented in beautiful condition.
