It was developed in a wind tunnel, immediately supplied with a V8 and with a fibreglass body relatively light. The C2 Sting Ray is seen by many as the most attractive Corvette. In 1964 the rear window ‘spine’ disappears, so loosing its ‘Split Window’ nickname. Our car is a bright-blue 1966 coupé and therefore one with a single piece rear window. A beautifully sculpted coupé with its finish complimenting the fresh gleaming brightwork. The fibreglass bodywork is in excellent condition with straight panels, flush closing doors and every detail in its right place. The car has been resprayed in its original colour. Certainly a car that sticks on ones retina. A characteristic features of this generation of Corvette’s is the colourful interiors.
