DESCRIPTION The Mk1 Ford Escort RS2000's are a rare breed with few remaining today, Presented here a rare example donning the genuine Type 49 shell along with being built under the Ford Advanced Operations guises in Aveley Essex EXTERNAL Glancing at this beautiful example it's hard to believe it's nearly fifty years old, With the slightly flared wheel arches coupled with it's genuine Type 49 stiffened body shell this is simply collector grade condition With period correct inner wing strut top plate strengtheners, Along with as to be expected underside strengthening, anti tramp bars and correct exhaust hangers all ensure this is the real deal! The underside bodywork along with the running gear having seen powder coating to a high standard in it's lifetime leaving nothing untouched, ensuring the attention to detail gives a lovely clean finish.
