Our vendor is reluctantly selling this 1987 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth which he purchased when it was about 10 months old and kept it originally as a company car, registered to his company. in 1994, it was transferred into his name. Supplied new on the 21st May 1987 by H & J Quick Ltd Manchester, the first registered keeper was Croft & Blackburn Ltd of Goole. Our vendor purchased the Cosworth from Sandcliffe of Boston on the 10th March 1988 and used it extensively, some 80,000 miles being covered in the first ten years. From 1997 through to 2013, 5,700 miles were covered, the Cosworth only being used for special occasions. Since around 2013 the Cosworth has been kept in a secure and dry garage. As expected, some recommissioning work will be required before the car can be started and used again.
