Designed in the late 1930s as a utility vehicle for commercial use and adopted by various Police Departments along with numerous other businesses Based on the 'big twin' models with a rear axle and fitted with a 750cc side valve engine, 3 speed gearbox (with reverse), foot clutch and electric start Most Police models were fitted with left-hand throttle and right-hand tank mounted gear shifter This well presented example is in good running order Imported into the UK in 1980 and more recently used by the Harley-Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain to promote the club Fitted with the correct Police speedo, pursuit lights, siren and red front-mounted revolving police light Also fitted with the optional front-mounted tow bar that enabled the Servi-Car to be towed by a car or truck Matching numbers and in older restored condition Featured in February/March 2020 in American-V magazine with a copy included Small history file with reprint service manual, some DVLA paperwork and other associated paperwork Great promotional/marketing bike and ready to go UK-registered on a current V5C
