Background:First launched in 1998, the Honda CB1300 evolved from the earlier CB1000 ‘Big One’ to become one of the most admired muscle bikes of its era. Designed for both performance and everyday usability, it features a liquid-cooled 1,284cc inline four-cylinder engine delivering strong torque across the rev range, refined fuel injection and a relaxed riding position. Despite its size and presence, the CB1300 has always been praised for its smooth power delivery, balanced handling and excellent build quality. In 2003, the model received key updates including revised styling, improved suspension and the addition of a half-faired version, offering enhanced comfort on longer rides. The CB1300 remains a favourite among enthusiasts for its durability, classic looks and dependable performance. The Bike:Offered here is a 2006 example of the Honda CB1300, presented by a trade seller in London. The bike has had just two previous owners and is described as running and riding well. It has recently been issued with a fresh 12-month MOT, providing peace of mind for its next keeper. Fitted with a carbon fibre exhaust can, the bike retains a purposeful aesthetic in line with its muscular character. There are some marks around the machine that are commensurate with age, but overall it presents well for a machine of its vintage.
