While the XK120 and XK140 were already praised for their performance and design, the XK150 – launched in 1957 – marked the ultimate evolution of the concept. Wider, more comfortable, and technically advanced, it was regarded as the most refined and versatile of the XK line. The Fixed Head Coupé combined the charm of a classic Gran Turismo with the solid road manners and power of Jaguar’s renowned 3.4-litre straight-six engine. The example offered here was first delivered in 1960 and has enjoyed an impressive life ever since. It was cherished by the same owner for over three decades, who ensured meticulous care before entrusting a comprehensive restoration to a renowned Dutch “old school” Jaguar specialist.
