This gleaming, beautifully finished and very correct UK Home Market Subaru Impreza Turbo has recently been subject to a program of work costing in the region of £20,000. Our car was purchased new on the 20th July 2000 from Bentleys of Knaresborough and supplied new to a lady based on the outskirts of York. The supplying dealership carried out the first service at 1110 miles and then a Subaru main agent, F R Pulleyn Ltd in York looked after the car for its first owner. The early service history is impressive, the original service and warranties booklet records services with the main agent at 6300, 9791, 11408, 16040, 19471, 21678, 23846, 25644, 27956, 31138, 35243, 40244 and 53242 miles, an impressive 14 services in the cars first six years. Equally impressive is the fact all invoices for the cars early history is still with the car, along with MOT certificates dating back to the cars first test at three years old. The long established Well Lane Turbo Centre near Leeds carried out the cars next service at 46434 miles in 2007 and over the next twelve months the Impreza covered 17300 miles with its new Leeds based owner. A year or so later in 2008 the Impreza Turbo headed over to Northern Ireland where the car has spent 16 years covering a further 34000 miles, returning to England in 2024 with 97000 miles. Invoices for maintenance in Northern Ireland is on file and receipts document oil changes and regular servicing and maintenance and upkeep to include a new air flow metre, new front brake calipers, front and rear discs and pads, a new power steering belt and various new sensors. The Impreza was last MOT tested in Northern Ireland at 95629 miles and has spent the past few years carefully stored. On coming back over to England, this very original car was ready for paintwork with various areas of lacquer peel evident. The car was the booked into our bodyshop Malton Coachworks for a full glass out re-paint in the cars original colour. The Impreza was stripped down and found to be incredibly original, some areas required renewed metal work, the car was then prepared for a top class re-paint and built up with various new trims. The correct original alloy wheels were re-furbished, a new set of tyres fitted and then the car booked in for a full service and light re-commissioning. The steering rack has been rebuilt, a new Catalytic converter down pipe fitted along with a new Lambda sensor. Receipts total over £23,000 and the car is now offered onto the market in beautiful condition. W678 DWR presents beautifully with a gleaming, stunning paint finish. Panels are perfectly straight, the underside of the car structurally outstanding and the engine bay is very original and nicely presented. The interior is remarkably clean and original, it could easily be mistaken for a car with half the mileage clearly demonstrating how well the car has been looked after throughout its life. On the road the Impreza is impressive, its quick, very fit and has that distinctive Impreza note. Its brilliant fun to drive and finding UK home market examples in this condition, with this level of originality and history with original books and manuals all present will not be easy to repeat.
