2267cc. This yellow Sunbeam Alpine DHC received a full body restoration plus a new overdrive gearbox and overhauled & uprated engine by marque expert Dave Bamforth in 2014. Around 2013 to 2015 it was also prepared for road rallies, with upgrades including power steering, brake servo, reclining sports seats (the originals are included in the sale), rev counter, auxiliary gauges, high-torque starter motor, door locks, seat belts and trip meter. It remains in smart condition today.Its last MoT expired in 2020, but being a historic vehicle it is exempt from requiring a test. The car came to the sale under its own steam, and the vendor tells us it's driving well.
