I purchased this car 6 years ago and I am the tenth owner. Subject to an older restoration which included an overdrive refurbishment and a replacement, refurbished and sturdier 135BHP 2.5pi engine (I believe that the original engine had seized and had a cracked block). The paintwork and the chrome work still present very well, with a few blemishes here and there and the shut lines are near to perfect. Replacements and upgrades include a metering unit, Mohair hood and cover, Walnut dash, steering wheel and door caps, high torque starter motor, electronic ignition, windshield, fuel tank, sports coil and water pump and pulley etc. There are other parts but too many to include here. I have invoices/receipts and MoT certificates dating from 1985 to the present. I have an agreed insurance valuation of £25,000 which can be seen upon viewing the vehicle. Although exempt she has a current MoT certificate to 25/09/25. It has been a pleasure to own and drive this car but with ageing joints I must now reluctantly sell her in order to purchase a larger automatic classic car. I am possibly open to a swap or part exchange deal for an early classic Ford Mustang or maybe a 1957 Ford Thunderbird of the same standard as this car (money either way).
