This beautifully preserved Vauxhall Belmont (the big-booted saloon variant of the Mk2 Astra) is showing only 12,190 miles on its odometer. It has had only one registered keeper its entire life, and was put into storage shortly after passing an MoT in 1991. A few months ago it was rescued and received an extensive re-commissioning process, followed by an advisory-free MoT that will remain valid until 29th October 2026. Works included a new fuel tank, rear wheel cylinders, sump gasket, brake hose, fuel hose, battery, radiator, and an oil service.Paperwork highlights include the original Bill of Sale, which reveals that the car was initially sold by Monorep Ltd in Middlesex for £5485, finished in Mexico Red. It was first registered on 25th November 1986. The service book contains the PDI stamp from that year, and the vendor believes that the car was owner-maintained thereafter.It also comes with various insurance paperwork, original Monorep number plates, a tax disk still in the windscreen, and MoT certificates from 1989, 1991, and 2025.
