In current ownership since 1999. The Vendor declares: For Sale: 1962 Volkswagen Beetle – 1200cc, 6 Volt This classic 1962 VW Beetle has undergone a full restoration to a very high standard. A few years ago, it was completely refurbished with 4 new wings, bonnet, boot lid and a full respray with all new window rubbers fitted. After being stored for several years, it has now been recommissioned and brought back to excellent condition. The car has just passed an MOT (even though, as a historic vehicle, it is exempt from both MOT and road tax). This was done to give the new owner peace of mind when purchasing. Recent work and new parts fitted include: New battery Plug leads and points Ignition switch Flasher unit Electric windscreen washer kit New tyres Two new road wheels Fuel tank Track rod ends Drive shaft gaiter Under bonnet and boot lid seals Full carpet and underlay Under bonnet boot lining Engine lid lock and key This is a lovely-looking classic Beetle that drives very well and is ready to go. Old MOT certificates back to 1990 and a file of some bills and receipts back to the 90's.
