Produced between 1973 and 1987 Yamaha's RD250 was a huge success story The learner-legal, 248cc, two-stroke twin was at sporty little commuter bike ridden by many prior to moving on to bigger bikes In 1983 the UK government changed the learner class and reduced it the 125cc effectively ending the 250cc market in the UK This 1980 RD250F is from the very last months of RD250 production before the arrival of the liquid-cooled 'LC' in May 1980 Finished in classic Yamaha 'speed blocks', Kenny Roberts yellow and black colour scheme  In mostly original condition although the paint work has been refreshed during its life Confirmed running, the bike has been in storage for a period of time so some recommissioning may be required
