1971 LOTUS ELAN SERIES 4 - £12,000
Lotus Elan Series 4, dismantled for restoration. The body requires some repairs, which have been started. The original chassis is in very good condition and just requires minor repairs where the top part of the backbone section is spot welded to the base section. The car is left hand drive but will be very simple to convert to right hand drive. I bought the Elan to restore for myself however, too many projects and a back injury means I am not realistically going to be able to complete the restoration. I purchased the car from the USA, the previous owner told me he had owned the car since 1979, which is born out by the issue date of 20th April 1979 on the Commonwealth of Virginia title certificate. He said that neither he or the one previous owner had used the car during the winter months. I have UK registered the Elan, all UK taxes have been paid and it comes with a V5C.
